Our Story
Founded on the wealth generating ideals of consistency and tenacity, Robin Crown, takes the first part of its name from the grandfather of its founder, Robin Mkandla, who began as a teacher in the rural areas, and through his diligence, hard work and committed approach and financial prudence managed to acquire a portfolio of farms and assets that his family still hold today more than 20 years on.
Mr Robin Mkandla was not just a gracious and dignified man, he was a dynamic and disruptive thinker with his pride and joy being his Toyota Crown, which typified for those who knew him elegance, dignity and wealth. It is from this man and symbol where the name Robin Crown is derived. He believed in, and modeled throughout his life a disciplined, patient and focused approach to saving and investing that built him a fortune and left a legacy for him and his family. He was a unifier who brought together people from far and wide, with his influence stretching across several countries in Southern Africa including South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana and Zimbabwe. This has shaped and inspired our outlook to be Pan African.
So it is in tribute to this amazing man that we have named the company Robin Crown, as a homage to not just his life but more so the values that still define us. Those of;

Atlantis Resources is focused on being a global commodity producer, processor and trader.

Robin Crown Farm is an agri-focused investment company that grows macadamias and bananas. Robin Crowns goal is to participate in the agriculture value chain, through investment in business operating in the full range of agricultural activities and services.
More specifically, the Company grows macadamia nuts in Leisure Bay, Port Edward, Kwa Zulu Natal a very popular area for macadamia nuts which require a tropical climate to grow.
Robin Crown Farm has just over 20 hectares of land and manages another 50 hectares of farms in KZN.
